Gravimetric sampling

Gravimetric sampling is a technique used to determine airborne pollutants in the working atmospheres. This gives a clear indication of what pollutants workers are exposed to in their normal working environment.

These include:
  • Alpha quartz
  • DPM (diesel particulate matter)
  • VOC’s (volatile organic compounds)
  • Welding fumes (Fe, Cr, Ni, Mn)
  • PM10 dust particulates
  • Lead (elemental and organics)
  • Man made mineral fibres
  • Hydrogen Cyanide
  • Mineral oil mists
  • Total dust
  • Tungsten
