NatureBound was formed as a Closed Corporation in 2001 and converted to a private company in September 2004.
We are consulting mainly in Occupational Hygiene, Mine / Industrial Ventilation and partially in Environmental Management. With 35 years of highly active involvement and participation in gold, chrome and platinum mining, including opencast, industrial sites and processing plant in South Africa, all areas of work in the Occupational Hygiene / Ventilation / Environment Management, design, planning, auditing and radiation are covered.

We are registration with the South Africa Department of Labour, full members of the Clay Brick Association of South Africa, Mine Ventilation Society of South Africa, and the Fire Prevention Association of Southern Africa.

NatureBound is a family business, with father Francois and son Francois Graaff at the drive of operations. Over the years we grew in skills and numbers from two to fourteen personnel. Five of these are qualified in Mine Ventilation to at least Intermediate Certificate level, while the remainder are engaged in supporting services like construction and loss identification. This capacity places us in a position to render a complete departmental service, including the supply and managing of staff on a long-term contract basis.

NatureBound is mostly project driven. In line with current South African legislation, we are accredited as a level 4 Black Economical Empowerment contributor
